When Bush, Cheney, and associates can skate on their crimes, it is a little unfair to suggest that Costa Rica is the most corrupt place on the planet. This move by Angulo is reminiscent of Nixon’s phlebitis that kept him from testifying in the Watergate matter. On the other hand, this sapo needs to go to trial.

I’ve been following this guy’s legal problem for years. “Why?” you ask. Because the guy looks like a TOAD. He also looks like the most corrupt/sleazy person in the freakin’ world. If he skates from all these charges, Costa Rica will have proven itself the most corrupt place on Earth. Call me a cynic, but I’m guessing he’s faking these health issues. On the other hand, it looks like he’s eaten pretty well on the people’s dime.
