Turbo is in the middle of the swamps and is only a loading point for bananas to be shipped to Europe. The same ships also carry some passengers. When we deborded in Limon, the entire ship was searched by Costa Rica&#039;s migration department as well as the Policia Control de Drogas (PCD) with sniffer dogs.
