Before, after and during the time “law” was written and passed, members of the United Nations spent years here taking judges and lawyers and family court workers out to lunch, “educating” them about how to interpret the justice system according to gender. Probably a main stimulus for this current activity and concern for men (read P’s) is that now some have V’s and some women (read V’s) are now P’s and so on. Makes it quite confusing, at least for me.

Finally some sanity, and Carmen Muñoz can stuff it. Whether a mother OR father doesn’t work, perhaps because one or the other is caring for the kids, is a factor for the judge to consider in a given case. You don’t write the law itself in a gender-biased way for God’s sakes.
