Who just does not no any better. Costa Rica banks are the worst to deal with. Very Very hard and long process to even open an account. When or if you get a account. Just making deposits you get the 3rd degree. As to why you are making a deposit and where is this money come from. If you do not use a account for 3 months and they LOCK your account. The only way to open it is to go to the bank. HOW THE HECK DOES THAT WORK IN A TOURIST COUNTRY! Most people are only in the country part of the year. So I have 3 accounts. Each account has a Dollar & a Colones account. That is 6 account that you loss or is locked until you fly back and sign a card. VERY VERY bad and unfriendly system.
