What will it take for Costa Rica to understand that they need some kind of trained, even small, professional, border guards to REPEL these Sandinista thugs. Over the last several years prior to Daniel Ortega and his cabal coming back into power, it was tranquil along the San Juan River and relations were cordial between the two countries. But since Danny Boy has been in power, he has been belligerently pushing on Costa Rica and trying to nibble away at their northern border. Just lately with his statements about going to the World Court to try to make Guanacaste part of Nicaragua is outrageous and dangerous.Costa Rica is a peaceful country and hasn't been trying to STEAL territory from its neighbors. With a far left President in the USA at present, the USA isn't a reliable friend to prevent these kind of bellicose actions by the country just to the north. Costa Rica NEEDS to defend itself, with a trained force military force, yes, a military force. Times change but self defense is always in fashion!

If you look at this whole series of events over the last few years since the Sandinista’s have come back into power, it has been Nicaragua that has been the aggressor in each one of these incidences.
