There’s a reason insurance terminates after a certain age, duh, actuarial. I guess though the insurance companies can simply increase their premiums, charging like $5000 a month for a $5000 life insurance policy, and get people to voluntarily end coverage. I often wonder what the hell the court is thinking.

So if they are talking about “an increase in premiums”, just exactly what does that mean? A $2000 a year ripoff for husband and wife seems like an increase to me. “A rose by any other name is still a rose” — maybe SUG should look into this practice of discriminating against the aged as well.
