I have been looking into filing a suit against costa rica in the oas human rights court located in san jose. has anybody tried this court to right the wrongs committed against fathers? any input readers?

So what do you call a Tica who has 3 kids with 3 different fathers? You would think a P*T$, But no, They are called JACKPOT. AND I am forbidden to see my precious princess this Father’s day. So what came out of the protest, NOTHING.

They reward cazafortunas , The law pats them on the back. They are congratulated by their piers. You have visitation rights but no one enforces the regime de visitas. The mother can move to any location and totally hide from the father. The father has no recourse to see his child, but only to continue to pay pension. Most Ticas expect the extranero to pay support and forget about the child. But a father that wants rights in CR, are very hard to come by. Especially when pension is paid and you’re treatened to go to jail only after 3 days late. When you know your pension goes not to your kid but to support the unemployed new boyfriend, and the other illegitimate kids in the household.

This is merely the tip of the iceberg concerning injustice in the “justice” system here. Perhaps ICR and other media outlets should be exposing many of such cases.
One in our area concerned a man whose wife made horrible allegations against him. After 7 months in jail where he suffered abuse at the hands of officials, he was tried and found to be innocent.
When he got out, the man discovered that his house had been stripped to the walls of all his possessions and, of course, all his money had been used up to pay for his defence. He’d lost absolutely everything.
Later, the Fiscal admitted that they knew the woman was crazy but had chosen to proceed with the charges against the man anyway.

ABOUT TIME SOMETHING IS HAPPENING ABOUT FATHERS RIGHTS. THEY DO NOT EXIST HERE IN CR. THE MOTHER HAS TOO MUCH POWER AND LIES. THE COURTS ONLY BELIEVE THE LIES THE MOTHERS SAY AGAINST TH E FATHERS. THIS HAS TO STOP NOW IN THIS COUNTRY.
