What about all those police cars donated by China maybe a year ago, that are now sitting on the junk pile? What about that GD white elephant stadium China built for CR? These loans don’t come free, and will likely be passed on for generations — assuming the global economic collapse doesn’t happen after all. When it comes, though, there necessarily will be a reckoning, and my guess is that CR will have to pay with its natural resources, including land.
