What startles me is either how dumb Minister Chacon is or how given he is to political ball-washing. Forget whether you support or don’t support Chinchilla, any political analyst with an ounce of intelligence could rattle off a dozen reasons for her low polled popularity. A savvy communications minister would at least acknowledge those reasons and then proceed to rebut them. To deny them is a sign that either this guy is an ignoramus as a communications minister or so powerless that he has to embarrass himself by appearing to be an ignoramus. Either way, this is one bureaucrat that doesn’t need to be on the public payroll.

I have spoken too many Tico’s. maybe 200 hundred over the past two months and not one I mean not one supported lady Laura and could not say enough of the bloated government and taxes high prices.

She has done nothing but increase taxes and raised prices that effect negatively almost every person who lives in Costa Rica. People weaker government stronger, how about looking at the high salaries and benefits of government workers way out of line with the average costa rican.
