I don’t know what rock this Doctor crawled out from under, his research is about 50 years out of date. He would do well to put personal bias aside, it is well documented that being gay is no more a choice than being straight is a choice. How on earth can someone who is responsibe for protecting HUMAN RIGHTS be so bigoted!

I’m lost. Doesn’t the legislature have anything better to do? I suppose if the bill on civil unions were debated and doctors from one side were invited to testify, doctors from the other side should be allowed too, but inviting a quack expert to speak on a matter that isn’t even on the agenda strikes me as utter frivolity.

Well they’re not kidding and there should be some effort to communicate to Orozco how destructive this visit would be. One wonders what a person who would welcome a homophobe to CR is doing chairing the Human Rights commission. The economic argument is a good place to begin, but the backwardness needs to be addressed as well.

There’s a lot more to homosexuality than sticking things in your anus. This is type of thinking is destructive & backward. Over and over, so-called “gay cures” has been proven to be ineffective & harmful. If this country is going down that road, I might as well move back to Canada & deal with the cold weather.
