I find it distressing that “belief” should be a criteria in a court of law. What happened to proof? Witness testimony? Anything. Don’t misunderstand that I condone his actions, if they happened; but there should be some evidence to support a conviction this serious, surely more than one word over another. What a system! Judges here must have physic ability. Of course, this story could be lacking in detail; won’t be the first or last time.
