ALL this torment and $expensive repairs could have been AVOIDED with proper regular “maintenance”. ~:o/

First off: a truck can’t be held at fault–it’s an inanimate object. Driver, yes. This will be the scenario: the company who employed the driver will claim the driver did not obey company rules and did not authorize passing over the bridge; that the bridge was not property marked in any event/the driver will claim the bridge jumped out in front of him–he didn’t even realize he was on it until too late, or that the brakes failed (it didn’t pass Riteve) and he had no option but to smash into the bridge to stop his momentum. Besides, he is a poor man with a family to support and can’t pay the ¢92,000 fine. Both will join in blaming MOPT/CONAVI. Nothing will happen.

92,000 Colonies fine.Ha, ha. Not as much as for not wearing a seat belt! When 90 tons hits and breaks a temporary bridge, causing it to collapse (WHO”S) fault is it, DUH!
