well guys, i sold my business and and get about $900.00 monthly, and is not consider part of my retirement, they tell me that it has to be , what i get from my S S .. i know that if you live in your own ranch in costa rica, and eat and live the way we do $1,500 is enough for me and my wife… any way we love the place, fruits, tubers, tilapias, parrots , sloth and the rain !!! we kind of miss it !

Youi better get a lot more that that to retire in Costa Rica, ask your buddies. you need about $2000 per month. Nothing is cheap except the girls and thiefs that will rob you at least 5 times a year along with the lawyers and cops…….

Hi, I am 66 retired in Houston, and can hardly meet ends with it! I get less de $700.00, and I was trying to retire in costa rica, and did not qualify for residence , I figured that in Central America I could live better the rest of my few years left… the increase is just bull crap, and in the states is just meager, and the future for old farts like me, are uncertain and is going to get worse! may god help us!

Hard to believe, wonder how they really come up with this shit. Congress should donate thier income to the social security benefits, what a bunch of jerks.
