I lived there for over 9 years, lock the bastards up and don’t let them out. It was old to have problems 5 or 6 times a week. Never move to Puntarenas, actually stay the way from this f’ up little piece of sheet country.

The more laws they pass that are subject to jail time, for instane driving way too fast is not going to help the situation. Pretty soon they willl put you in jail for breathing too heavy.

Chain gang clean up the beaches and roads and rivers. Texas Prisons do grow food raise cattle,pigs, chickens and cotton and veggies for the offenders. Sell the rest to help support the 120,000 prisoners.

My step son was incarcerated for not paying child support. He was put in Jail for a sentence of 6 months then his back child support is wiped clean. Seems something wrong here with the system. Anyway after 6 weeks crying to his ex to sign a paper forgiving him he was out. He paid support for 2 or 3 months now has not paid. So again I suppose he will be back in.Your right no work program. There were I think 200 of them all there in jail. He said like being in hell which he deserved… Poor children not being supported.. The island San Lucas needs to be open and put them all there. Grow food and work.

Unfoirtunately, it is lock them up and release awhen ready. There is no attemot toi make the time productive (i.e. work) educational, (i.e. study), noire rehabiliutate (i.e. psychology.) Mickey is right, right. Here prisoin time is do a little as possible, live in sub.par existance, bribe, steal and survive until thye diir is unlatched. We buyikd a $25 million police academy but not new prisons: Duh! One day, not long from now ther eis going to be prison break that will shock the country and then, only then will we get reform.

What needs to be done is prisoners need to work, build other prisons, raise there own food, plant and pick cotton. Prisons can be self efficient.They are now just school were the young prisoner learns how to improve there next crime.
