I have one lingering in legal limbo--i.e., waiting for a traffic court date to be set (which I hear can take a year or more)--but it sure seems like I'm assumed to be guilty. I can't sell the vehicle or renew the marchamo without paying the ticket first, even though I haven't been found guilty (and actually the ticket was issued without my being present or even aware of it for weeks). Now, is the law going to collect from me at the airport? And how could they do that, since I can't pay the ticket without first going to court and changing my plea to guilty? These legislators pass way too many laws without thinking through them first.

I wonder whether a disputed ticket is still a border-stopper.
