China will not and does not donate or loan money for prisons. Bad publicity even though the incarcerate many without trials that is why we say communist rule!. Police cars /academies/stadiums and roads are okay.

I know it may be hard to remember back a full year (to June 2011), but wasn’t there a new Costa Rica Police Academy inaugurated in Bo. El Socorro in Heredia (20,000+ m2) of which China donated US$30 million? So, is the $8 m for another police academy? Maybe the money would be better spent to construct more jails. What’s the sense of more police to catch the bad guys if you got no place to incarcerate them?

An 8 million dollar miscommunication? Who read the document before signing? I read every document before signing even if I am only spending $20! Does the loan also come with a caveat that a Chinese construction company, (with enslaved workers) build the National Police Academy? If so then Costa Rica loses out in several ways. No new jobs for Ticos, substandard construction, (remember the Chinese police car issues?) and more debt to a communist country. How much is it now? $400 million for Ruta 32, $8 million towards miscommunication and I have forgotten the rest. As to the headline……Is anything from China “what it appears to be”? These days the same can be said for Laura’s administration. Can I have my miscommunication with a side order of shark fin soup please?

If you’re seein’ things runnin’ thru your head, who ya’ going to call — China-money! Hey guys. China ain’t no fool to be givin’ money away for foreign slush funds. Remember the Taiwan donated bridge? Your “Communist” China wants accountability. Hear me? Who ya’ going to believe at odds with “miscommunication”: China or our transparent admin.
