I would suggest selling that phone on ebay and buying a GSM unlocked phone. I do that a lot. I have taking several unlocked GSM phones to CR and they always worked fine, even on their 3G network. I use ICE&#039;s prepaid SIM called Kolbi. Actually, I bought my SIM card here in the USA from this company: https://www.costaricacellularconnection.com They are very reliable.
