JACK:
I just read your article on
Villalobos and Milanes. Here's a recent update on Milanes
as told to me from an investor for Idaho.
This investor and
three of his friends signed up for the 30% contingency offer and
sent copies of there deposit checks. Yesterday he recieved
a telephone call from Liz, she is his contact at the real
estate office, requesting the original checks.
Supposedly, Acuna is meeting with Milanes this coming Tuesday
and will be paying their clients on Thursday.
In your article you mentioned
that Acuna had made similar cliams. Have you heard of
this recent rumor? Are you able to check this rumor for
any validity? Let me know you thoughts on this.

For
Jack Caine.
I am an investor in VE. Am not aware of the ICSID; what
ICSID stands for.
How does an investor get involved?
Not clear on your article. Are you saying that all
creditors must drop their
cases thru the ICCR and private attorneys before the ICSID can
move?
What if some investors fail to respond to your request?
How will that affect
action being attempted by the ICSID?
How certain are you of your probability for success?
How long will it take before you accomplish your mission?

Appreciate your reportage on the
Villalobos crisis. I don't "ven go there"
as they say about a.m. costa rica. Editor Brodell with his
wanted poster is
a sham.
Keep up the good work,

Read your article, unfortunately, I have a considerable interest
in what is happening. I was recently told about your concern and
possibilities of realizing some return after all.
I have met LEV. personally and do agree that he would not
intentionally do what is said. If there is any way of you
having enough time to contact me, please do, any information
will be appreciated.
I am a 79 and this was the first year, in many, that I was
unable to spend the winter in CR.
Thank You.
