Hilton Papagayo Resort Costa
Rica Announces Debut Of
Traditional Hilton Full-Service
After completing a multi-million
dollar renovation Hilton
Papagayo Resort Costa Rica
announced on May 8 that as of
Nov. 1, 2008, the resort will
offer the traditional options
associated with a full service
Hilton property, rather than the
all-inclusive package available
now.
According to Hilton Hotels, the
change is part of an extensive
makeover covering almost every
aspect of the property,
including a brand new open air
lobby, new Kidz Paradise club, a
brand new world-class spa, and
complete upgrades to the
resort's 202 guest rooms,
restaurants, and swimming pool
area.
On Nov. 1, 2008, the resort will
debut an array of new services
associated with a traditional
Hilton full-service resort.
Guests will be able to enjoy
room service, new and unique
items on the resort's dining
menus, a new choice of upscale
liquor brands at all bars and
restaurants, and new meeting
space. Additionally, travelers
will only pay for the food and
beverage services they consume
and have more freedom to explore
the resort, its surroundings,
and local restaurants. Kids will
be happy too as the Hilton
Papagayo Resort Costa Rica will
implement a no additional charge
for children policy as well as
children dining discounts at
on-property restaurants.
But not everything changes.
Guests at the Hilton Papagayo
Resort Costa Rica will still
have complimentary access to all
non-motorized watersports,
fitness center, karaoke, dance
lessons, and live music at the
bar.
Now through Oct. 31, 2008,
guests can experience the
newly-renovated resort
facilities while taking
advantage of the current
all-inclusive package, for rates
starting as low as $149.00* per
person per night.
All-inclusive dining options
include three restaurants and
two bars. La Cosecha Restaurant
presents live showcase cooking
buffet-style and is open for
breakfast, lunch, and dinner,
serving international and local
cuisine, with a specialty theme
each night. Grill del Fuego
provides Italian cuisine in a
quaint atmosphere, while El
Dorado specializes in creative
Costa Rican cuisine in a formal
setting. And, Hilton Papagayo
Resort helps guests get a smart
start for their first meal with
the Hilton Breakfast Program, a
color-coded system that
identifies whether the menu item
is low-cholesterol, low-fat,
high-fiber, low-calorie,
high-energy or an indulgence.
Guests will also find an array
of on-property diversions to
enjoy at the Hilton Papagayo
Resort, with two outdoor
swimming pools, non-motorized
water sports, tennis courts,
on-site tour desk to arrange
eco-adventures, local arts and
crafts store, and nightly
entertainment. The new Kidz
Paradise club features
activities for children of all
ages, including games, nature
walks, and the club's very own
volcano.
Plus, the pinnacle of the
resort's relaxation options is a
brand world-class spa with 13
treatment rooms featuring
spectacular garden and ocean
views, separate swimming pool, a
fitness center with Precor
equipment, and an array of
creative and unique treatments
including everything from
volcanic stones to local fruits.
The Hilton Papagayo Resort is a
proud member of the
Certification for Sustainable
Tourism Program, where it has
been recognized with a
three-leaf rating from the Costa
Rican Tourism Institute.
