Junquillal

This secluded beach area lies in the Guanacaste region, just south of Tamarindo, only a few kilometers off the main road that connects the Nortwest beaches to the Tempisque ferry.

The roads that lead to Junquillal are pretty bad, making what would be a 15 minutes ride into almost an hour and that is if there was no rain the previous day.

You will pass by a little town before getting to the beach itself and you will think to have found your own little paradise.

A few hotels and private homes make up the area, but by an large this beach is totally private and peaceful. A great place to soak up the sun and relax!
