With the A9 Toolbar installed your web browsing history will be saved so you can search through your whole history (and clear items you don’t want kept).

A9.com uses your history to recommend new sites, to alert you to new search results, and to let you know the last time you visited a page.

Searching the Web and Beyond
A9.com provides several sources of information with a customized multi-column interface. The list of available sources appears as buttons on the right side of the search results page.

Clicking on any button opens a new column on the same page (clicking the button again will close that column).

You can adjust the size of the columns by dragging the borders to the left or right [learn more]. The arrangement of open columns and their relative sizes is automatically kept for the next search.

Each web search result indicates whether it’s new [ New ] or has previously been clicked on [ Clicked 2 weeks ago ].

Every search you performed on A9.com is stored in the History column and organized by time. You can switch between your previous searches and the sites you’ve visited. With the A9 Toolbar, the list of all sites you have visited is accessible the same way.

If you open the history column on a search result page, it will give you search results of your own history followed by a list of your entire history (as well as from your bookmarks and diary…).
