Sunday
will
host
the
largest
chop
suey
dish
event
in
the
Americas,
with
an
expected
23
chefs
-
most
of
Asian
background
-
taking
part.

The
chop
suey
that
will
be
prepared
in
the
open
par
will
serve
some
10.000
people.
The
event
is
being
sponsored
by
the
Museo
de
Arte
Costarricense
(Costa
Rican
Art
Museum)
and
financed
by
Fideos
Precocidos
de
Costa
Rica
which
markets
the
VIGUI
brand
of
chop
suey
noodles.
This
is
the
first
ever
event
in
the
region.
Chefs
will
use,
in
addition
to
noodles,
items
like
broccoli,
cauliflower,
chicken,
beef,
pork
and
of
course,
soy
sauce.
VIGUI
is
one
of
the
most
consumed
chop
suey
noodles
in
Costa
Rica.
