Lights In Costa Rican Night Sky Possible UFO's

A series of lights in the night sky caught the attention of several people on an weekend outdoor activity in Moravia, east side of San José. One person took out his camera to record the strange event which continued for several minutes around 8pm Saturday night.

Attending the Platanares de Moravia party were physicians, including Marco Vargas,  director of the Trauma Unit of the National Children Hospital of Costa Rica, other professionals and agents of the Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ), who all witnessed and surprised by the lights.

According to attendees at first thought they were helicopters, but was ruled out after calling the airport control tower at the Tobias Bolaños in Pavas.

The phenomenon lasted 5 to 10 minutes which accounted for about 20 lights that moved from east to west, the light was intermittent and sometimes turning.

The video taken by Alexis Astúa and broadcast by Telenoticias, local television news channel 7, is being subjected to analysis and field research to determine what the lights were, while people who attended the event still wonder whether they were witness UFOs visiting Costa Rica.
