What's On At The New National Stadium

Saturday March 26: Inauguration - opening of the new national stadium highlighted with a soccer game between Costa Rica's national team "La Sele" and China's national team following the "acts of protocol.

Tuesday March 29: Friendly soccer game between La Sele and Argentina

Wednesday March 30: "Noche Sinfónica" - Symphony Orchestra concert

Thursday March 31: Boxing Match - Costa Rica's Hannah Grabriels defends her World Championship title

Friday April 1: "Lunada" - a night of dance hall music

Saturday April 2: "Festival Música Nacional" - national music festival

Sunday April 3: "Fiesta en Tu Casa" - concert with Gilberto Santaroas, Don Omar and Victor Manuelle as the special invited guests to the great international concert

Sunday April 10: "Shakira" - the concert with the Colombian artist and bombshell (The concert was originally scheduled to end the inauguration week on April 3, but was changed to April 10 at the request of the artist)

*Reports on Thursday that scalpers were looking for ¢200.000 plus (us$400 plus) for Sharika tickets and would be more expensive as the concert date nears.
