Turrialba Volcano Maintains Active

The Turrialba volcano has not stopped spewing gas and ash, experts of the Red Sismológica de la Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR) confirmed on Friday while getting a close look at the volcano.

This was the first time in almost a week that vulcanologits where to get a good look at the volcano, with the break in the weather, as the cold front of this past week kept he vocalno hidden from the eyes of the experts,

Temperatures measured at the volcano reached 540 Celsius, confirming that the newly created crater is still active as at the beginning of the week.
