Sets Position Over Obama's Declaration
LA PAZ - President Evo Morales
announced Thursday Bolivia's position over
recent declarations of US President Barack
Obama who demanded to resume talks to
re-establish the Andean Trade Preference and
Drug Enforcement Act (ATPDEA).
The government spokesman Ivan Canelas
informed that Morales has get in touch with
the Foreign Ministry and is expected to
announce his position over Obama's wish this
Thursday.
The Bolivian Head of State set a public
position last Tuesday in this respect and we
have elaborated an official document later,
expressed Canelas.
In that opportunity Morales affirmed that he
couldn't understand how a black excluded man
can exclude an Indian, referring to the US
Head of State for his decision of leaving
Bolivia out of the ATPDEA Program.
According to international Media Obama
ordered his officials Tuesday to work with
Bolivia improve cooperation in order to
achieve restoration of duties regulations.
Washington imposed as condition that the
Andean nation must improve joint struggle to
drug trafficking
