Noriega?
In a
commentary
in
today's
edition
of Al
Día,
Edgar
Fonseca,
comments
that
Nicaragua's
Daniel
Ortega
will be
taking
the same
trip as
Noriega,
a
direct,
non-return
flight
to
Miami.
What are
the
Americans
waiting
for?
asks
Fonseca.
The Al
Día
reporter
foresees
that
Ortega
will
incur
the same
demise
as
Panama's
Manuel
Noriega,
ending
the rest
of his
days in
a jail
cell.
"Ortega,
his wife
and his
retinue
destroyed,
stone by
stone,
the
democratic
institutional
framework
in
Nicaragua.
He
carried
in-band,
true to
the
script
Bonnet
Caracas",
writes
Fonseca.
Fonseca
explains
that
Ortega
is
described
as
corrupt,
ruthless
and
authoritarian
by many
and
'crazy"
by the
Spanish
dimplomacy.
In his
bullying
he
commits
blunders,
invades
and
mocks
and
scorns
the
Intermarican
system
of
international
law,
Fonseca
goes on
to say.
"In
Managua
everyone
is
quiet.
Neither
the
opposition,
much
less the
Caridnal,
joke. As
if
everyone
is being
whipped",
writes
Fonseca.
