Avenidazo
Tonight
Christmas
time in
San José
is
filled
with
events
and
traditions,
with
music,
dance,
parades
and of
course
the "avenidazo".
This
year the
season
kicks
off
tonight
with a
special
event
planned
in
downtown
San José
starting
at
5:30pm
at the
Plaza de
la
Cultura,
adjacent
to the
Teatro
Nacional
and the
Gran
Hotel
Costa
Rica.
The
tradition
includes
the
throwing
of paper
confetti.
