Winds

Showers
To
Linger
In Costa
Rica
Although
the
strong
cold
winds
will be
gone by
later
today
(Thursday),
best not
to put
away the
umbrella
just
yet,
especially
in the
northern
zone and
Caribbean
coast.
The
Instituto
Metereologico
Nacional
(IMN) -
national
weather
service
- is
forecasting
that
light,
scattered
showers
will be
normal
throughout
the
country
in the
coming
days
before
the
onset of
the
summer
or dry
season.
While
the
Central
Valley,
Guanacaste
and the
Central
Pacific
are
beginning
to enjoy
the
summer
weather
conditions,
the same
is not
in areas
of
Corredores
de Pérez
Zeledón
and
Golfito,
where
the
Comisión
Nacional
de
Emergencias
(CNE)
continues
its
"yellow
alert"
for the
area.
Despite
the
alert,
the CNE
reports
that all
the
shelters
are
empty,
all the
affected
of the
rains of
last
month
are back
in their
homes.
In the
northern
zone and
Caribbean,
the
summer
or dry
season
kicks in
a little
later
than the
rest of
the
