Trapped
Chilean
Miners
Robbed
in Costa
Rica
After
being
trapped
underground
for 70
days
this
year,
Chilean
miners
Juan
Llnaes
and Raul
Bustos,
while
visiting
Costa
Rica
this
past
weekend,
lived
another
trauma,
that of
being
robbed.
The two
of the
33
trapped
miners
were in
Costa
Rica to
give
talks
about
their
experiences
at the
Universidad
Latina
in San
Pedro.
The
police
report
indicates
that
thieves
took
their
passports
and
laptops.
The
passports
were
recovered
near the
Palma
Real
hotel in
La
Sabana,
while
the
laptops
not.
The
organizers
of the
miners'
visit
put a
positive
spin on
the
situation,
saying
that the
visit in
Costa
Rica
went
well.
A larger
group of
the 33
miners
will be
visiting
England
next
week to
see a
Manchester
United
soccer
game,
according
to BBC
news.
We can
only
hope
their
visit in
England
will be
much
better
than in
Costa
Rica. |
