Former Priest Claims Allegations Of Sexual Abuse Are Made Up

Former Catholic church priest, Ernesto García Rubio, said on Costa Rica's national television last night that the accusations of sex abuse of minors against him are all made up.
 
 

The former Cuban priest is being accused in the United States for sexual abuse of Cuban minors in Miami.

García Rubio, now 72 years age, spoke to on channel 7's Telenoticias from his home in Grecia, insisting that he is innocent of all the accusations against him, referring to the some 80 complaints filed and being investigated by the Miami-Dade prosecutor's office.

The former priest has lived in Costa Rica since 2000.

The former priest admits working with Nicaraguan and Cuban minors arriving in the United States fleeing conflicts in their respective countries, but in no time did ever abuse any of them.

García Rubio said during his interview that he was never excomunicated by the church and that all the accusations against him are false.
