Bolivia Decries UNOAMERICA
La Paz - The Bolivian Government
condemned on Friday the Union of Democratic
Organizations of America (UNOAMERICA)
because of its links with notorious
terrorists, including Luis Posada Carriles,
who found shelter in the United States.
According to presidential spokesman Ivan
Canelas, UNOAMERICA dared to sue President
Evo Morales and accuse him of being
responsible of the massacre of 18 farmers on
the Amazonian region of Pando on September
11 2008.
Canelas stressed that the said political
organization had links with extremists,
including Posada Carriles, the mastermind of
the blowing up of a Cuban civil plane in mid
air in 1976, killing all 73 people on board.
UNOAMERICA was created with money to defend
the interests of some groups against the
interests of the majorities, said Canelas. |
