Two
More Weeks Before the Dry Season Kicks In
The national weather service - the Instituto
Meteorológico Nacional (IMN) - says that the
rains will last two weeks more in the
Central Valley before the summer or dry
season kicks in by the middel of November.
Rebecca Morera of the IMN says that the
dates for the start of the dry season in the
Central Valley are between November 12 and
16.
The dry season, however, will hit first the
area of the North Pacific (Guanacaste), as
the preduction for the end of the rainy
season are between November 7 and 11.
The Central Pacific (Puntarenas, Jacó and
Quepos) however will have to wait until the
end of November, or maybe the first week in
December.
The IMN says that the South Pacific (Paso
Canoas) will have to wait until the first
week in January. Morera says that the
Caribbean (Limón) and Northern Zone (San
Carlos, Los Chiles) won't see the start of
the dry season for another two months.
