A
Saturday Without Water
Work on water mains will turn off the taps
in homes in the Tres Ríos, Moravia,
Desamparados, Giocoechea, Hatillos and
Alajuelita on Saturday.
For the Hatillos and Alajuelita, the
Acueductos y Alcantarillados (AyA) - water
utility - announced the closures will affect
mainly the areas of Aguanta Filo, Colonia
Belgrano, Hatillo 4, Colonia 15 de Setiembre,
Vivienda in Marcha and Tiribí.
The work is expected to be carried out
between 8am and 4pm.
The AyA says that a major part of the work
on the water main has been completed without
interrupting water service. However,
Saturday's will make it necessary.
The areas or Tres Ríos and
neighbouring communities will be without
water between 10am and 3pm.
The communities affected, according to the
AyA, are: Sierras de La Unión III, La Yeny,
La Eulalia, Santiago del Monte, Río Azul,
Llanos de Concepción, La Flor, Calle Cabuya,
Hacienda Imperial, Barlovento, Colinas de
Montealegre, Gregal, Monterán, Granadilla
Norte, Granadilla Sur, Miravalles, San
Antonio, Los Guido, La Capri, San Miguel,
Dos Cercas, Desamparados, San Rafael Arriba,
Parque del Este, Salitrillos and El Cristo.
As well, Alameda, Alfred Nobel, La Maravilla,
La Españolita, Las Américas, Yaranaba,
Tejares, Jardines de La Paz, Las Hortensias,
Kurú, La Esmeralda, Mozotal, Jardines de
Moravia, La Trinidad, Saint Clare, Lomas de
Moravia, Ipís, La Facio, Purral, Nogales,
Heliconias, Zetillal, Nazareno, San Antonio,
Dulce Nombre, San Isidro, San Francisco, Y
Griega, El Rodeo, El Carmen, San Francisco
de Dos Ríos, Zapote, Córdoba and Centro.
Some the foregoing communities are in
Giocoechea, Moravia, Coronado, Desamparados
and La Unión, which are all served by the
Tres Ríos water main. |
