Hondurans Want to Spread Silenced News
Tegucigalpa - The popular movement of
Honduras against the de facto regime wants
to spread the news silenced by the
authorities, who imposed the state of siege,
confirmed the National Resistance Front.
The violation of constitutional guarantees
include the Radio Globo and Channel 36
closing, which used to report rallies
opposed to the Roberto Micheletti
government.
The Front explained that a daily bulletin
will spread the activities planned by the
resistance in Tegucigalpa, in order to fill
in the space left by the Globo and Channel
36 closing. This bulletin could be delivered
and printed by popular organizations and
people who have the technical means.
The closing of media with independent stance
is a sign of totalitarianism and it is the
rise of repression against the Honduran
people, said the front, established by
social, country, women, students and
indigenous organizations.
