Argentina Trials vs Military Oppressors Will Continue

BUENOS AIRES - Argentina´s Minister of Justice, Security and Human Rights Julio Alak reiterated that the ongoing trials against the oppressors of the last dictatorship will continue.

"Nothing will stop the trials against those responsible for the illegal repression and human rights violations," said Alak, insisting that the legal process the current government is pushing ahead against those guilty of acts of genocide is unstoppable.

The minister made those statements when referring to the threatening actions made this week against the President of the Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo (Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo), Estela de Carlotto.

On Thursday night, unidentified people attacked with stones the car patrolling the house of Carlotto in the Buenos Aires locality of Tolosa.
