3G
Applications Accepted As Of Today
Beginning today the Instituto Costarricense
de Electricidad (ICE) is accepting
applications for cellular lines to the 3G
network.
The state telecom announced earlier this
month that it would be unveiling the new 3G
network by mid December and that there would
be no lines ups.
Beginning today anyone interested in
obtaining one of the 950.000 lines of the
third generation of cellular service can do
so at any ICE agency, or calling 115 or 193.
ICE promises that every person on the list
will not have to again line up to get
connected.
To get connected to Costa Rica's cellular
network, ICE requires that the person be a
legal resident or citizen. |
