El
Coyol Access Closed As Of Today
Residents and visitors to the El Coyol de
Alajuela should take note that the stretch
of road between Tropigas and the Riteve
station into El Coyol is closed for repairs
as of today.
According to the Departamento de Gestión
Vial of the Municipalidad de Alajuela, the
road will be closed for about 25 days.
The road had become a nightmare for drivers,
as vehicles had to weave across and over
potholes, rocks and ditches. The road will
now get a new base and asphalt coat. The
road had been lacking maintenance for a long
time.
