Dollar Recover Another ¢6 Colones In One Day
The US dollar kept on recovering on Friday
with the exchange rate climbing another ¢6
colones, bringing the total climb to ¢15
colones since Thursday morning.
The Banco Central de Costa Rica posted this
morning a buy are of ¢568.45 and sell
¢578.17, up from ¢562.09 and ¢571.87,
respectively, of Closing Thursday.
On Thursday the dollar had dropped to
¢553.34 for the buy and ¢563.58 for the
sell, following more than a week of steady
drops.
Economist say that the exchange rate could
go up and down for the remainder of the
year, but should start climbing again come
January.
