Bolivia: Cuban Residents Condemn US Blockade
LA PAZ - Cuban residents in Bolivia
condemned on Friday the blockade that
Washington has imposed on Cuba for almost 50
years; they also said that policy is doomed.
According to a statement they sent to Cuban
embassy in La Paz, Cuba make progress in
many areas such as healthcare, education,
sports, science and biotechnology, despite
the US economic, financial and trade
blockade.
The text stress also Cuban free medical care
system, and its solidarity with other
countries.
The message praises Cuban doctors work in
Bolivia, where it have been treated millions
of patients and thousand of them recovered
their sights.
In the meantime, the last October 28 victory
in UN showed 187 condemned the blockade and
voted against it.
They also recommend to US President, Barack
Obama, to ammend previous administrations'
mistakes and suspend that hostile policy.
