Family Asks Help In Finding Missing Man in
Costa Rica
Dixon's family, who has traveled from the UK
to search for him and is doing everything
possible to find anyone who may have seen
him.
No one has seen Michael. And no one else
claims to have seen him the day he went
missing.
According to the Facebook update, where
updates of finding Michael are posted, an
air, boat and foot search of the area where
Micheal was last seen came up empty.
The last time the family heard from Michael
is in an email on October 14th. "I'm good,
thanks. I'm currently on holiday in Costa
Rica after spending a few days in New York.
First time here and so far, so good", wrote
Michael.
Dixon was described as 1.7m, 65kg, and was
wearing shorts and a T-shirt when last seen.

Dixon is not the first to go missing in
Guanacaste, he is the third this year, four
since 2005, when Brendan Dobbins also
disappeared from Tamarindo.
Dobbins' went missing2005. Dobbins' family
from Australia spend months in Costa Rica
looking for Brendan after he went missing in
Tamarindo while visiting Costa Rica with
several of his classmates from Florida
University. Dental records matched the teeth
of remains found believe to have been
Dobbins. The inquest into the death of the
Melbourne man heard that the university
student was on a cocaine binge
Still missing:
David Alexande Gimelfarb, 28 years of
age, went missing in August when he went
hiking, along, in the area of the Parque
Nacional Rincón de la Vieja. The area,
northeast of Liberia, is expansive and
search efforts to find him alive failed. A
reported sighting of Gimelfarb by a local
area resident found nothing of David.
Facebook is also being used to post
information on the disappearance and search
for David, who was last seen 10am on
Tuesday, August 11th on the Rincon de Vieja
National Park outside of Liberia in Costa
Rica. His car was noticed in the parking lot
after closing hours on Tuesday night and
there has no evidence of him returning
since.

Craig Snell was last seen on February
18 of this year. A resident of Ostional, he
was last seen taking a walk along the beach
from Ostonial to Boca Nosara,

Michael Dixon disappeared while on vacation in Costa Rica. He was last reported being seen leaving his hotel walking toward Playa Tamarindo. His hotel room was found undisturbed, all of his belongings accounted for. Please help us find him!
