Indigenous Confederation To Back Evo
La Paz - The Bolivia Confederation to
Indigenous People (CIDOB) agreed to support Evo
Morales as Presidential candidate of the
Plurinational State on December 6 forthcoming
elections.
According to a report of Cambio newspaper the
decision was released by the top leader of the
organization Adolfo Chavez and was assumed after
arduous debate at the Sixth Meeting of its National
Commission held between Friday and Saturday in Santa
Cruz eastern city.
In the meeting the natives also tackled Draft Law of
Autonomies and Decentralization proposed by the
government and that will be submitted to
consultation in the plebiscite by the New Year's
Eve.
That regulation will be one of the first submitted
to the Plurinational Legislative Assembly, the
Bolivian congress name in 2010, after elections
cited.
Chavez told the Cidob leaders are already working in
Beni and Santa Cruz departments to back the Head of
State.
