General Cañas
To Be Closed For Fours Nights
The San Jose - Alajuela route on the
autopista General Cañas will be completely
closed off for four nights in a row
beginning tomorrow (Saturday) night.
The closures will be from 10pm to 5am
Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and
will be from the Juan Pablo II bridge for
all westbound traffic.
The closure is to complete the repairs of
the Virilla bridge, replacing the steel
plates that have temporarily patched holes
on the bridge road surface.
Traffic on the autopista will be redirected
to the La Uruca road to Heredia, past the
Jardines de Recuerdo cemetery, and back onto
the autopista at the Lagunilla, east of
Cariari.
