Bogota - Attorney General Mario Iguaran is to meet Wednesday with members of the Supreme Court on the course of the spying investigation in the Administrative Department of Security (DAS).

Iguaran was called by the Court president Francisco Ricaurte to reiterate him phonetapping accusations and request information on investigations about the monitoring of several judges.

Accusations were done by those officials a year ago, but with no response. Those charges joined to the Saturday disclosures Semana magazine made in an article that uncovered the scandal.

The Court also convened attorney general Alejandro Ordonez, DAS director Felipe Munoz, and National Police director General Oscar Naranjo a meeting today.

Carlos Bula, general secretary of the Alternative Democratic Pole (PDA), met Tuesday with the DAS director to protest on behalf of the party for illegal phonetapping to the Pole's soldiers and leaders, included President Carlos Gaviria.

Bula stated that spying is a risk for security and life of those peoples and demanded the State all guarantees for the victims of those facts.

Meanwhile, investigations for the scandal of phone taps and e-mails of judges, politicians and journalists still continue, but we still ignore who are the masterminds and reasons of the spying.
