Attack in Guatemala Kills Six
GUATEMALA - An attack in the south of
Guatemala killed six people and injured four
others on Tuesday, sources of the rescue
teams reported on Wednesday.
According to the sources, the shooting
attack occurred on Tuesday night in Santa
Maria La Paz Dos district of Guatemala City,
during a funeral of a young man.
The volunteer firemen said five youngsters
died on the spot and one more died after
being taken to the nearest hospital.
Four other people were injured, including a
minor female, the firemen said.
The reason of the attack was still unknown
and none of the victims have been identified
yet.
According to the investigators of the Civil
National Police, the attack might be revenge
between blackmail groups of Guatemala.
