Tourism Fair to be Held in Panama
PANAMA - Panama will hold in 2010 the first
edition of the International Tourism Fair,
aimed at promoting the development of the
tourism industry in the country, organizers
announced on Tuesday.
The event, sponsored by the chambers of
Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (CCIAP)
and of Tourism (CAMTUR), will run October
7-8 in ATLAPA Convention Center.
The fair will be aimed at airlines, hotel
resorts, travel agencies, cruise operators
and tour operators, among others.
CCIAP's president Adolfo Linares said that
this first fair will be oriented to Latin
America and the Caribbean.

highlighted the importance of this event for
tourism development while showing Panama's
potential in the field.
The Tourism Fair will give main players of
the industry in the country and abroad the
opportunity of doing business and exchanging
offers.
