Christmas Tree Lighting In Sabana Today
Each year a giant Christmas tree is placed
on the median in front of the Gimnasio
Nacional on the east side of the Sabana park
in San José. This year will not be an
exception as the Coca cola company continues
its annual tradition.
At 5pm today the lighting of the Christmas
tree ceremony will take place, as 10.000
lights will illuminate the 20 metre high
tree.
Stephanie Michel, coordinator of the event
for the Coca Cola company, said "this will
be a first class show", with clowns, acrobat
acts, and other entertaining acts.
This year a similar tree by the Coca Cola
company was placed in the new addition of
the Multiplaza. However, it pales in
comparison to the tree in the middle of the
street.
