Cuba Continues Disability Study in Nicaragua
MANAGUA - The Cuban-Nicaragua brigade "Todo con Voz"
continues on Friday the disability study in
Chinandega department, 93 miles northwest
from the capital.
After visiting more than 14,000 houses in
northern Matagalpa Department, which Health
Minister Guillermo Gonzalez qualified as
successful, the Cuban doctors work the same
way in this area, subsequently they will
move to Managua in January.
Nicaraguan authorities expect to finish the
study in Masaya, Matagalpa and Chinandega
departments and continue it in the capital
later.
In accordance with the Cuban work, Daniel
Ortega's government announces implementation
of projects to help the most unprotected
sector in the country.
The coordinator of the Communication and
Citizenship Rosario Murillo announced on
Thursday the opening of five protection
centres to aim abandoned and disabled
children and adults. |
