Dollar Gains ¢8 Colones
The US Dollar gained ¢8 colones in the last
several days, rising this morning to
¢¢557.82 for the buy and ¢567.89 for the
sell.
The dollar dropped steadily last week,
posting a low of ¢549.24 for the buy and
¢559.27 for the sell at the close of
business on Friday.
Experts say the drop in the dollar in the
past several weeks is due to many businesses
cashing in their dollars for colones to pay
the annual Aguinaldo and taxes due in
December. |
