International Crime Ring Dismantled in
Bolivia

Police Forces dismantled an international
crime ring of Peruvian and Bolivian
criminals, who plotted criminal actions
during the traditional celebrations of Urkupina, in Cochabamba, Bolivia.
According to a report from public
authorities, 23 people, 14 man and nine
women were detained during the operation,
carrying a huge number of arms.
Several vehicles and motorcycles were also
seized in this operation, the document
reads.
This is the most important operation against
crime held in Bolivia during this
administration, the Minister of Government
Alfredo Rada said.
Rada specified the crime organization had
planned to attack, assault and rob, during
Urkupina celebrations, a religious activity
enjoyed by Bolivians from the whole nation. |
